A summary of the films
The meteor caused a huge change for the 9 boys, after it fell things changed like they gained powers and were drawn back to each other. We see in the films that they were all friends but then stopped. Basically they are guided to each other and we see it in the films.
This is unofficial but not really, if you take a look at their Instagram @the hidden universe each post has a small dot to show their color. I figured it was a way for Luvity to figure out who was posting. That is all in universe not the boys, so it is their "character" so to speak.
If you watch Allen's Gotcha Lyrics videos he talks more about their universe in with the lyrics. Call my name is a song based on their whole universe. I'd check his videos out for even more context
As of April 4, 2021 we have figured out the powers, with the help of @httpsminimo I was able to fill in the blanks.
